Todd Luckman

Todd Luckmanwas born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Soon after, the Luckman family relocated to Wichita, Kansas, and Todd grew up in Kansas and graduated from Goddard High School in 1986. He attended the University of Kansas, and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor in Arts in both Psychology and English. Todd then attended law school at the University of Kansas, obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree in 1994. In law school Todd was a staff member of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, and also served as Symposium Editor. During law school, Todd was hired by Stumbo, Hanson & Hendricks to serve as a law clerk. After two years of service with the firm, and after passing the Kansas bar in 1994, Todd was hired as an associate. Todd is admitted to practice in the state of Kansas and also before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also active in many local bar functions, being a member of the Topeka and Kansas
Bar Associations, and also having served as Treasurer for the Topeka Young Lawyers Division. Todd is a current Director of the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council, and has been a director since 1999. In addition, Todd is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Todd's practice focuses on Consumer Bankruptcy, Family Law and general business practice. He also serves as the attorney in charge of managing pretrial procedure for litigation, and the appellate work for the firm. He has been privileged to argue cases before the Kansas Court of Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and the Court of Appeals of the Tenth Circuit. In his eight years of practice, he has dealt with state court cases as well as administrative proceedings, arbitration hearings and federal court litigation. Todd has served as City Prosecutor for the City of Auburn since 1999. Todd also serves as the firm's computer administrator, and is proud of his certification as an NT network administrator even though, as with everything involving computers, the certification was obsolete soon after receiving it.

Todd lives in Lawrence with his wife Kathy and his two future KU basketball stars Isabelle and Stuart.
